课程标准三级目标要求八年级学生能听懂较慢语速、熟悉话题的简单对话;识别主题,获取主要信息;能引出话题并进行交谈,并能在口语活动中使用正确的语音语调。
2.教材分析
本单元以假期活动为主线,运用一般过去时谈论刚刚过去的一些周末常见活动。Section A 重点是表示假期活动的动词短语和一般过去时特殊疑问句,难点是一般过去时特殊疑问句,不规则动词的过去式。Section B是Section A的拓展,进一步学习更多动词的过去式,本部分重点是一般过去时态在听说读写中技能的运用。难点是正确使用一般过去时,特别是不规则动词的过去时。
3.学情分析
学生在小学阶段初步学习过一般过去时的用法,这些为八年级顺利学习一般过去时奠定了知识基础。本单元内容是第二次出现的时态,在运用时,不规则动词的过去式与动词原形差别很大,学生易错,另外,一般过去时的特殊疑问句,学生容易忘记助动词did .

1. 通过课堂练习,能准确说出本节课所学5个单词及6个短语。
通过小组活动,1)能运用Where did you go on vacation ?
来谈论假期活动。2)能继续用一般过去时态来谈论过去发生的事情。
