1)你会喜欢来洛杉矶的,一方面能够了解美国文化,同时又能提高英语水平。 2)我们的教师受过良好培训,并且经验丰富。 3)我们每周有测试,衡量你们的听、说、读、写技能的进步。 4)你们会住在美国人家中亲自感受他们的生活,你们和美国人同吃同玩儿。 5)你们可以选择参观好莱坞、迪斯尼乐园或洛杉矶周边的著名海滩。 6)我们努力让学生在美国体验到最好的生活和语言学习经历。 7)如果你对课程感兴趣的话,请填写我们的申请表格。 2. 语言点导学
1) experienced 形容词,经验丰富的。如:He is an driver. 他是一个经验丰富的司机。表示“在„„经验丰富”时,后+at或in。如:My uncle is experienced
at / in repairing bikes. 我叔叔修自行车的经验很丰富。
【拓展】experienced动词和名词都是experience,名词为“经验(不可数);经历”
(可数)。如:He has much experience of teaching English. 他有许多教英语的经验。
2)as well as而且,还,也,连接两个相同成分。此时,as well as 但强调的重点
放在前面,“不但„„而且„„”;“既„„又„„”;“除了„„之外,还有„„”,
翻译时要先译后面,再译前面。如:We need fresh air and clean water as well as food.
我们不仅需要食物,还需要清新的空气和干净的水。
拓展:as well as用于同级比较,“和„„做得一样好”。如:Lucy dances as well as Lily.
露西和莉莉跳舞跳得一样好。
3). take place发生,指经过安排发生,主语通常是“会议、活动、运动”等。如:
The meeting took place in the city hall. 会议在市政厅举行。
提示:happen 指人或物(偶然地)发生了什么事,主语由accident 或类似的词充
当。如:What happened this morning? 今天早上发生了什么事?
4). plenty of大量的,足够的,后接可数名词复数和不可数名词,谓语动词的单复
数与其后的名词一致。如:There are plenty of eggs in the house. 屋里有许多鸡蛋。
plenty of 通常用于肯定句中;否定句、疑问句中用enough 或much, many。如:
There are plenty of books in the library. 图书馆里有大量的书。
